Little India is an ethnic neighbourhood in Singapore, largely dominated by Singapore’s Indian community. Be prepared for an assault on the senses when you step in. There are many interesting things to discover here, from the wet market to shopping malls and jasmine garlands and strong scented spices sold along the streets.

 

Mustafa Centre, Singapore's only 24-hour shopping mall is located in Little India. It houses a supermarket and 2 shopping centres. You will find every conceivable item here at some of the lowest fixed prices in Singapore.

 

There is a wide range of hotels here, mainly catering to backpackers and those travelling on a shoestring budget. Little India is easily accessible, with two MRT stations - Farrer Park and Little India, serving this area.
